The need to offer real-time reconciliations for multiple products across disparate systems

Many Custodians have repositioned themselves as Securities Services providers offering a wide variety of Asset / Security Services, most often with reconciliation services as part of the package. If these reconciliations are performed on legacy reconciliation applications, or those not designed with service provision in mind, then issues will arise from their inability to deal with high volumes and deliver proper multi-tenanted segregation. As a result, the service provider will be impacted by higher costs, time-to-market issues and sub-standard service capabilities compared to competitors.
