London – 9 August 2010 – Gresham Computing plc, the real-time financial solutions specialist, is pleased to announce the following progress and enhancements to its Clareti Cash Reporting Service, formerly known as Real-Time Nostro.
The Cash Reporting Service, formerly Real-Time Nostro, was launched in 2003 and has been operationally live with many of the largest banks in the world since that time. The service enables account owners to manage intra-day Liquidity risk on hundreds of billions of dollars across multiple accounts utilising information from 23 provider banks in 18 currencies.
We have been providing data from the Cash Reporting Service to our two largest Tier 1 bank users for over 5 years and expect their use to increase in coming months as we bring on further currencies to satisfy their growing demand.
In recent months, we have seen a growing demand from our Cash Reporting Service user base for additional currencies, especially for exotic and emerging market currencies, adding to the 14 CLS currencies available. We have also seen a tenfold increase in the number of enquiries per day that users are making on the Cash Reporting Service as they seek to control their business in the post credit crunch environment.
At the request of users, 5 major banks are currently being integrated to provide CHF, JPY, CAD, NOK, DKK and SEK currency information. We expect all 5 to be live in the second half of 2010.
In total, we will have 23 active banks supplying 18 currencies to users, as follows: AUD, CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, JPY, NOK, NZD, PLN, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, USD and ZAR.
Yes. If you would like to undertake a trial of the service, simply contact a Gresham representative and we will be happy to discuss the currencies available and subscription process.
