Liquidity Risks addressed by Real-Time Cash Reporting Service

FINInform CUG unlocks new sources of data for users

Gresham has increased the available routes for banks to provide cash transaction and balance reporting information to the subscribers of its Cash Reporting Service by setting up a SWIFT, FINInform Closed User Group (CUG). The FINInform service solves the problem where a bank is unable to send particular message types to more than one BIC address by creating a copy via the CUG.

After joining the CUG, SWIFT FINInform allows the sender of information to specify the messages or parts of messages for a selected BIC address to be copied to Gresham’s own SWIFT address.

Users can now receive data from these correspondents, expanding our capability to receive data and provide it to users.

New data provider to Service

As a result of deploying this FINInform CUG enhancement, we have added a new Canadian Dollar (CAD) data provider on behalf of an existing Cash Reporting Service user, extending their use of the Service.
